About Me

Growth only comes from adversity and from challenge – from stepping away from what’s comfortable and familiar and stepping out in to the unknown

Ben Saunders

My journey began as a qualified social worker and am passionate about supporting individuals to understand the route of their difficulties and finding a way forward.
I have over 10 years of experience working in a variety of settings consisting of charities, local authorities and I currently work within the NHS.

My work has focused primarily on supporting and guiding families facing a multitude of challenges in their lives.

Areas of Support

Tailored to You

If you are coming to therapy with specific difficulties which may not be listed above, please reach out so we can discuss if I am able to support you.

Due to my background in social work, I have used many approaches to work with families from systemic, strengths-based and person centred and do incorporate these in my current work as needed. However, my current work is underpinned by attachment theory. I am currently a trainee at the Bowlby centre studying attachment-based psychoanalytic therapy.
